Set of 6 crystal 24% lead wine glasses produced by Katharinen Hütte, during 1960s, in West Germany, in Swabia (Bavaria), bounded by Austria in the East, Lake Constance and the districts of Bodensee and Ravenburg.
The glasses are part of a collection inspired by the castles around Lindau, featuring a an intricate pattern on the bowl and on the stem reminding of the long curtains used to decorate the long halls/throne rooms in the castles. All still have the original tags on, they are rather heavy and thick enough to accommodate that etched decoration.
These are great pieces for the dinner table, not too many, not too few, just enough for a meal together with your friends and family, and would be a spectacular fit for some red wine.
