Authentic ‘Pink Depression’ Art Deco vase, produced in France during 1930s, with Cubist influences.
And so the story goes, that before ‘Millennial pink’ (a dusty, rosy, pale shade of pink), there was the ‘Depression pink’, born in 1929, in the midst of the economic crisis - well, at least something nice came out of that situation. This rosy pink hue was super popular until 1939 and beyond, with lots of charming shades and patterns inspired by the Art Deco movement.
Large enough for a generous bouquet of flowers and pink enough but not quite so, to fit any modern house, the vase in in excellent condition and can be a lovely artefact of bygone times to cosy up in your home.
