Mid-century candlestick holder produced by Steuler Keramik during 1960s, in West Germany. With a slightly shiny dark brown glaze and featuring some black insertions, this sort of piece is perfect for a vintage vibe curated design, whilst the earthy colours reminisce of bygone times.
The chamber candlestick holders such as this one, were from the very beginning designed to be portable and make it easier for carrying it around the house to light your way onto the bed chamber, hence the grip knob.
Of course, its initial use would no longer actually apply, you can just switch on the lights and get straight to your bedroom, but of if you want to add a little drama to your bedtime routine, this piece can really do the job. Alternatively, this can sit very nicely on your dinner table and bring that splash of mid-century to any wooden table.
