Retro Sarreguemines Ceramic Vibrant Burnt Orange Serving Bowls Set of 4 (France, 1970s)

Produced sometime between 1974 to 1978, these stackable dip bowls are actually of quite some importance to the Sarreguemines history, as in 1978 the company was bought by the Lunéville-Badonviller-Saint-Clément group [check our other products and you’ll find something from each of them].

Anyways, as it usually happens in the history of a company, when sold, changes occur, and this was a major decision that affected the production of crockery that was stopped one year later, the factory focusing on the production of floor and wall tiles [beautiful indeed, but still does not change the stopping of their longstanding production lines].

They would be great for serving dips, nuts, dried fruit or anything you might fancy putting on your table, but can also be dubbed as cappuccino cups, to be honest I drink my coffee from all sort of things that aren’t coffee cups. With that retro/mid-century-ish vibe, you could integrate them into your home regardless it’s super minimalistic/modern or vintage inspired and they could actually make for a lovely little gift.
