Set of 2 brandy crystal glasses produced by Ritzenhoff & Breker during early 1990s, in Germany, part of their “Flirt” Collection. The glasses still have the original sticker tag on, they feature a short stem and a 1990s romantic etched pattern with subtle lines and a design reminding of some bows.

Ritzenhoff & Breker was founded back in 1810 and it was just emerging on the market when the German Confederation was established in 1815, by the Congress of Viena, as a means to replace the dissolved Holy Roman Empire.

These glasses are part of the new Ritzenhoff designs, after commissioning the creatives from Sieger Design to find new shapes and patterns for their mouth blown glasswork. Ritzenhoff already had associations with the German Beer brewing industry - being one of the largest beer glasses producers in Europe - and also started producing unique and unusual milk glasses after their encounter with the Milk Association Board.

The pair is in excellent shape and they would look great in your kitchen cabinet or on your coffee table with some old school brandy.
