Set of 5 porcelain plates Bavaria Vohenstrauss Johann Seltmann from the 1960s, great for soups, gazpacho or even some sort of easy pasta, tortellini or risotto.
The plates have a decorated rim with a Bauhaus inspired line pattern and an Art Deco twist, which is rather unusual for the 1960s, considering that during that time there were a lot more colours and floral patterns used and less intricate decorative designs. The only obvious 1960s feature is the colloidal gold rim, that is still in good condition, with some wear signs, so we can only assume that they were dearly loved and used by the previous owner or that they had an old technology dishwasher that washed off those gold details.
All plates are in good condition and might show some fine lines of use, the gold rim is intermittently faded, due to their use, but otherwise in great condition with no chips or cracks (kindly check all the pictures).
