Set of 6 ceramic Grés Du Marais plates, produced in France during mid-1960s, great for lunch and dinner, very actual and very much in the vein of that quintessential French campagne vibe.
Staying true to their Grès du Marais style, each piece varies in colour being all hand-made and whilst some are in a lighter beige/earthy colour, others are in a warmer beige or a mix of white and light beige, with their signature speckled look.
Grés Du Marais was established in 1959 in Saint Georges sur Eure, a stunningly picturesque countryside area between Paris and Le Mans, with a longstanding history in the production of ceramics.
All plates are in excellent condition and might show some fine cutlery lines, most likely due to use, but those small imperfections is really what gives them charm and would be a lovely addition to your dinner table.
